Meeting Miss Poston

In an atempt to improve my self-discipline re my writing, I've started entering short story writing comps.
I've entered the BBC's 'My Story'. There's a 1500 word limit and the story has to be true and person. Mine is about a large part of my childhood spent in the glorious shadow of Rook's Nest House, more widely known as Howards End.

Summary of 'Meeting Miss Poston'.- ( The 'boy' is me of course..!)

Some recollections and memoirs from a childhood spent in the splendid shadow of Rooks Nest House, in Hertfordshire. More widely known as Howard’s End, perhaps, childhood home of the eminent writer E.M. Forster and setting for his novel of the same name.
An account of a troubled boy’s first meeting with musician, broadcaster, secret-agent and founder of the forerunner of BBC3, the Third Programme, the notable Miss Elizabeth Poston, then resident owner of Rooks Nest House.
Detailing Elizabeth’s enormous influence on the boy’s development and growth and the happy years he spent learning from and caring for her donkey.
